Bereavement Support
Circle of Life provides comprehensive anticipatory grief and bereavement support and provides education that empowers Northwest Arkansas residents who are experiencing the dying process or who have experienced the death of a loved one.
When You Should Call...
- Traumatic or sudden death
- A loss within a business, congregation, association or school
- Suicide
- When time doesn’t heal
- When children are grieving
Circle of Life offers support for adults and children in all stages of the grieving process, regardless of their involvement in hospice services.
Here are just some of the many ways we can help you.
Facilitated by compassionate and specially trained bereavement professionals, our support groups help you understand the grieving process, learn ways to manage grief and find the strength to heal in a supportive setting.
- Grief Classes are offered four times a year
- Grief Workshops are also offered
Our support group and grief class participants report another benefit in attending a grief support group is the opportunity to meet and share with people who have experienced a similar loss. You can share feelings, or simply listen.
Community Lending Library
You may find comfort in researching and learning about your feelings and those of others. Our lending library includes an extensive collection of books, videos and articles on the grieving process.
Expert Support for Children & Teens
The Butterfly Support Classes are designed by age level and facilitated by our bereavement counselors. In addition, we provide specialized parent workshops, community and school outreach, to meet the specific needs of children.
Community Outreach
Our community outreach and education programs prepare healthcare providers, funeral directors, businesses, schools, churches and other groups on how to manage and work with those who have been affected by grief. We can also provide free speakers for grief-related topics.
